I visited to have my lip, chin, and brows waxed/threaded. I've had bad experiences in the past in Wellington, so I've gone months without grooming my brows. Due to my past experiences, I always clearly explain what I want - just a tidy up, no shaping, and definitely no thinning or rounding at the front/middle. The lady just nodded and proceeded. When she finished, it was so awful I almost cried. My brow was cut, and she had excessively thinned my left brow. I couldn't believe the poor job she did. While waxing my lip and chin, the wax was spread over my lips, which was very frustrating, and she even blew on the wax, which is unhygienic. Afterward, I had little pimples around my chin and lip.
I was offered a free henna to fix the brow because the lady admitted she did a terrible job, but the henna wore off, and the damage was done. I stumbled upon Haka Day Spa online and reserved the Essence of Euphoria package for my partner and myself. Upon arrival, the spa was impeccably clean and tranquil, and Nikola and Jot warmly welcomed us with water and delightful conversation. Nikola, a true master of her craft, briefed us on what to expect and consulted us on our skin types and current skincare routine. We then settled onto our tables and received the most divine leg, back, and foot massage along with a facial.
