There appears to be a shortage of staff at the checkout. Only had 2 operators for around 5 people in each queue. The self-service was very busy. The operator I had, who was very pleasant, mentioned they are always in need of more staff. Sort it out or I'll switch to New World where they usually have 5 operators open. I waited in line for 20 minutes.
The store is clean and well-organized. Considering the eco-friendliness, the pricing is reasonable, and it's even better with the My Rewards app! Always enjoy shopping here.
I had an online order to collect, and when I approached the counter, the person there kept asking if I was an Uber driver. I had to clarify that it was actually my order. Perhaps assuming all dark-skinned Asians are Uber drivers.
