Had a dreadful experience, previously had SNS on my nails, one broke short. Showed it to the nail tech, asked her to be gentle, still attached to my skin. She filed the top, then ripped off the broken nail, got an acrylic tip to rip the rest. Broke three other nails, healthy and strong, should've stayed intact with proper removal. Aware it caused discomfort, I mentioned being used to soaking off, but she continued, tried to charge $20 for removal! Never returning here. If I could rate lower than one star, I would.
Rarely get nails done, only for special occasions, wanted nails for my daughter's 21st, such a letdown. Tried to talk to the tech about the color, but she ignored me. Not sure if she understood English. Staff chatted in their language, felt uncomfortable (I was the only one there). End result terrible, thick polish, tech tried to thin it with liquid. Some nails chipped by the time I got home 😢 Also had a pedicure, meant to be relaxing, but technician FaceTimed on speaker several times, loud and unprofessional! Left on the chair, no thank you from staff. Never going back! What a waste of $65.
Visited three times now (Glenfield mall), never had an issue, great price, great service, just perfect. They don't talk much, just ask for color and nail shape. I'm not after a chat - I just chill and get quality nails done. Don't mind their language, I'm on my kindle or enjoying the silence. Perfect for me. Here's my recent powder nails, totally in love, no extra charge for two colors. These are powder dip nails, my natural nails, helps them grow and stay strong. Redone every 5-6 weeks, that's how long it lasts 🙌
