Kia ora, my name is Shane. I hail from Wellington and ventured all the way to Christchurch for a family gathering. After a quick search for salons specializing in blonde hair, I stumbled upon Kiwi & Co. Stepping into their establishment was a classy experience. I was warmly welcomed by Laura, who promptly seated me. Following a pleasant chat, Georgia took over for a consultation. Despite my appointment being set for 10:15, I arrived around 9:30, but the ladies graciously accommodated me. Laura even offered me a lovely cup of coffee, which was a nice touch. Initially sporting plum and purple hair, Georgia confidently assured me that she could work her magic, and her enthusiasm was infectious. Laura spent most of the day bleaching my hair, with Jessica popping in to bring me coffee a few times - she's such a sweetheart. Jessica also did wonders with my eyebrows, leaving me very pleased. As the day progressed, Laura continued working on my hair while Georgia handled the toning process, ensuring me that everything would turn out beautifully. Towards the end, Jessica and another lovely lady expertly blow-dried my hair. Georgia truly shines as a manager and team leader; her bubbly and friendly personality made the experience even more delightful. By the time I left around 3 pm, I was in awe of the transformation from when I first walked in off the street. From the warm welcome to the exceptional service, the team at Kiwi & Co truly made me feel like royalty. I can't wait to return when I'm back in Christchurch. One of the worst nail episodes I've had. I'd toiled to fortify my nails with builder gel, then opted for regular gel. They ripped off my builder gel with a plastic tip forced between my natural nail and the gel. I'd asked for soaking, but they ignored me. It took around 15 minutes of painful ripping. Layers of my natural nails went with it. They said my nails were so frail they had to trim them all down. I explained it was due to not soaking off the builder gel and stripping so many layers. They filed my edges, leaving them sore, and cut my thumb. No inquiry on shape preference; I wanted square, but they filed them round in a rushed manner. I left feeling devastated; my hard-grown, strong nails were wrecked in minutes.
