The woman who did my nails was pleasant, but there is excess gel at the back of my acrylics and it's almost peeling off my real nail. There is also fabric residue under the gel from the towel she used.
I had just entered the salon and barely had a moment to breathe when the young woman was right in my face. Language was definitely a barrier. If you're going to work in New Zealand, you should be able to communicate more effectively. Only 2 employees were present. I requested a pedicure. Was told to sit in the chair. Given choices of gel colors. No spa, just warm water. During the pedicure, a staff member left me twice and went outside. Absent for a few minutes. Next was the manicure. I had picked my color. No soaking of nails, just filing to shape, scraping around the nails, then dusted off. Color applied, and then the staff member got up AGAIN, and another woman finished them. She then moved to another customer. By that time, there were 4 staff members. The lady doing the young girl next to me was explaining about the nail light. When I got home, a friend pointed out that the polish didn't even cover the ends of my nails. For $110, I would expect better service. NO MORE HOLLYWOOD FOR ME
