Absolutely delicious food, outstanding attentive service, incredibly stylish design of the venue. Highly recommended. Extensive wine selection, delectable cocktails- partner adored the zesty margarita. We indulged in a variety of small plates and thoroughly savored the cured fish and liver parfait. The standout was the chocolate dessert- a semi Freddo with praline, I believe. Still reminiscing about it. Exceptional. Will definitely revisit.
My partner and I were excited to sample Picknica for brekkie. The venue itself is delightful, boasting a chic interior. Regrettably, the breakfast menu was quite limited. I was particularly let down by the Turkish Eggs, which were cold and lacked the authentic Çılbır flavor. My partner's whitebait omelette was also lackluster, with scarce whitebait. The portions were petite, and we departed feeling peckish despite a $70+ tab. Surprisingly, the cafe was deserted on a weekend morning, and we won't be making a return anytime soon.
The interior decor is exceptionally sleek, elegant, and welcoming. While the cuisine is undeniably delightful, it may lean towards the pricier end considering the portion sizes. Nevertheless, the quality and presentation of the dishes are superb. The service could use a touch more attentiveness, but it doesn't overshadow the overall experience. Picnicka is a marvelous choice for a special celebration or a night out with mates, offering a charming blend of excellent fare, chic surroundings, and a vibrant ambiance.
