I took my offspring on a multi-day expedition with Zealandian Tours, exploring the Waitomo Caves, spending the night there, then boarding the train for the Volcanic Plateau. Jan our guide fetched us at the opposite end of the rail service, and transported us to our lodging 'The Chateau'. After a brief respite she then took us up to the peak of the road and aided us in boarding the chairlift which ascends the Mountain. She accompanied us up to the Knoll Ridge Cafe, which presented breathtaking panoramic vistas. The children and I discovered a slope to toboggan down, and it was simply a truly delightful way to conclude the day. Jan was exceedingly hospitable, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was well looked after. My initial jump, and it won't be my last!! What a fantastic day we had for my dive, amazing views of the surrounding area and coastline. The instructors were incredibly friendly, which was comforting. Undoubtedly one of the most thrilling things I've done so far, an absolute blast. I would jump again without hesitation!
