I participated in the shiatsu introductory course in October 2022. Winter is a wonderful instructor, intuitive, connected, and creates a warm, inviting environment. The meals prepared on-site by Jess are absolutely delightful. Delving into meridians and our connection to nature's elements was truly fascinating.
As it mostly involves sitting or kneeling on the floor, it may not be ideal if that is challenging for you, but the learning experience is still immense. To get to Synergy Vitality Spa at Shop 9/159 Eleventh Avenue, Tauranga South, Tauranga 3110, New Zealand by public transport, take bus number 36 from Tauranga CBD and get off at the Eleventh Avenue bus stop. If driving, head south on Eleventh Avenue from the Tauranga CBD, then turn left onto the 9th Street and the spa will be on your right at the corner of Eleventh Avenue and 9th Street.
