I was gifted a 75-minute massage + facial GrabOne voucher which was absolutely lovely. I really appreciated the forms I was asked to fill out online prior to my treatment where I could specify my massage and facial preferences, any particular focus areas and relevant medical history. The forms were easy to follow and quick to fill out — I thought this was a very professional touch! Anahera made me feel comfortable and was very accommodating of my needs, carefully choosing a facial treatment that wouldn’t adversely interact with my current medications and skincare. I was really impressed with the quality of my treatments and love that she uses Antipodes skincare products. Small touches like getting to choose the scent of essential oil for my massage were the icing on the cake! What an unforgettable experience! Departed my home country with freshly manicured nails, hoping to find a salon in NZ for a touch-up before my upcoming wedding. The technician back in California whom I specifically requested seemed unwell, and I wish she had informed me beforehand. Her work this time was subpar compared to her usual standard. It felt as though she only heard the word "wedding" and disregarded everything else, resulting in a completely different look. Despite showing her a photo of the simple design I desired, I ended up with long, pointed ivory nails with sparkles instead of the short, natural almond shape in a peachy ombré hue that I wanted. The situation became comical as my nails started to lift during my adventures in NZ, causing my natural nails to weaken. The exaggerated length also attracted teasing remarks during my travels. I knew I needed a fresh set. After researching nail salons, I was fortunate to contact this one first. The technician listened attentively, grasped my exact vision, and executed it flawlessly. The nails lasted well beyond my trip and looked stunning on my wedding day. While this review is overdue, it's never too late to express my gratitude! She's great at suggesting colours and styles, always coming up with unique and creative ideas. Aroha is absolutely amazing! She is so professional and I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my injuries now. She listens to what my body is doing and explains everything as she's going along. She asks if I'm doing ok or if she needs to stop if too painful. She knows where my pain is before I do most times and is stubborn to get rid of the knots she finds in my body which is causing me pain.
