I’ve been going to Tane for about 5 years and I can honestly say she is the best at threading my eyebrows and moustache. Isn’t as painful as previous beauty salons I’ve been too. She is fairly priced and the atmosphere of the salon is always calming. The friendliest person you’ll meet, always interacts with you. Never a dull moment in the salon. I also go and get my legs waxed with Tane and she always does a fantastic job, leaves my legs looking incredible. I suffered from persistent daily headaches, nausea, and a decreased appetite for about 2 months. I suspected my neck might be the culprit, so I decided to try a massage. I discovered Upper Hutt Therapeutic Massage and initially planned for a neck massage, but then came across something called Bowen therapy. I had never heard of it before, so I did some thorough research and found it could be beneficial. And indeed, it was. After 3 treatments, a week apart, my headaches significantly decreased after the first session. By the second treatment, they had practically vanished, with only occasional slight discomfort. I opted for a third treatment when I experienced constant nausea for a week, and Gail tailored a Bowen treatment specifically for it. The nausea disappeared the next day and hasn't returned. I now feel closer to normal and better than I have in months. I also indulged in a shoulder and neck massage, which was faultless. I highly recommend seeing Gail for both Bowen therapy and massage. She is an attentive listener, genuinely cares about your well-being, possesses vast knowledge, and has skilled hands. Thank you, Gail, for restoring my quality of life.
