My mate had a dreadful experience with the owner last night. The owner refused to work on her hair, claiming it was too damaged, even though a strand test had been conducted during the previous appointment and they had agreed it was fine to proceed. Even if the hair was too damaged for coloring, the way the owner handled the situation was terrible. The owner was distant, impolite, and didn't offer any alternatives like treatments, suitable products, or a plan to improve the hair condition - just a blunt refusal. My friend left in tears and has since re-booked elsewhere. When she explained her ordeal to the new hairdresser, they were shocked by her experience, as am I. We've taken away cabinet kai from here before and it was delicious, so we decided to eat in today.
My mate got the soup of the day, which came out lukewarm, a bit unfortunate when you're craving hot soup on a cold and dreary winter day.
I got the fried chicken waffles. The chicken was delicious, but the waffles were cold (room-temp cold, not fridge cold), which caught me off guard. The waffles were still tasty, but would have been way better if they were warm.
My significant other got waffles too, and theirs were warmer but still a tad cool compared to other spots. You could tell they weren't freshly made.
The coffees were choice. The hot chocolates were more on the watery side than creamy.

Outstanding service from Olivia, such a breeze to converse with and executed a flawless job on the hair. The ambiance was delightful with an abundance of lovely flora and impeccably spotless. Highly recommend!
