Oh, Strewth! I never thought I'd find such a top-notch New Zealand store in Wanaka/Albert Town. Can't wait to tell my hubby that I won't be lugging groceries from Auckland anymore to fly here. You've got everything here, with heaps of international brands not found in many Auckland shops. Fantastic, Spotless, Cutting-edge, Top-notch & Fresh veggie products are just a few words to describe the New World.
They say New World Three Parks is the best supermarket in New Zealand, and I had to see it for myself - and they weren't wrong! This is probably the most stunning, modern supermarket around. The staff also appear to be quite pleasant.
The best supermarket in the South Islands, this one is quite new and well-stocked with plenty of fresh and prepped foods. Situated amidst mountains, it offers stunning views in every direction. The staff are friendly and cheery, assisting with packing groceries into self-brought bags; it's great to see them guiding and mentoring the younger staff.
