I love visiting Aotearoa! As someone who only gets their hair done once (or maybe twice) a year, I really look forward to the whole experience of being in the salon. Shay has done an amazing job on my hair the two times I’ve seen her and was so responsive when I wanted to come back and get my hair lightened a little more after one of those sessions. I have dark, thick Asian hair, so I empathized with the situation. I go to the salon to boost my confidence, not to apologize for my ethnicity. I can only afford to pamper myself twice a year. I've been frequenting the hair salon in Tāmaki Makaurau for a couple of years now. The establishment is always impeccably clean and organized. It exudes a serene atmosphere that is a welcome change from the chaotic and stressful salons I've visited previously. The staff members have all been exceptional. I've been attended to by three hairstylists at the salon and I would happily book an appointment with any of them again...all very skilled and take pride in their craft.
