The barber was exceptional. I got precisely what I asked for, and the execution was superb. Furthermore, the pricing was very reasonable and ended up being more affordable than I anticipated. Just be prepared to wait as they don't take appointments. Absolutely dreadful. Waited nearly 3 hours for a haircut that never happened (got it in 5 mins from Ray’s around the corner). Spent my time watching one worker barely moving and the other man lazily on his phone, despite a long line of customers. After a single 40-minute cut, he took a food break, while we waited into our 3rd hour. Have encountered Tane several times and even switched from the hairdresser I've been loyal to for the past decade. Tane always goes the extra mile to ensure the fades are perfectly aligned and blended. He consistently delivers exactly what I ask for, and I've recommended him to numerous friends and colleagues. Not sure what the negative review was about, but that person must have been on something. Believe me, I've never encountered such a disappointing experience with a hairstylist before. My stylist, originally from New Zealand, started off amicably, but things quickly went downhill. Despite clear instructions for a simple crew cut, he seemed unable to grasp them. Towards the end, when I pointed out a misalignment in my haircut, he became defensive, claiming I should have mentioned it earlier. It felt like he was making me out to be the problem.
