I've loathed my locks for ages till I came here. It'd been over a year since my last snip, and I was lost on what I wanted. All I said was, "I don't know what I want but I loathe my hair." Diamond suggested ideas that I loved and executed them flawlessly. She also gave me tips on hair care at home, which I truly appreciated. She was so caring, and I felt well taken care of.
I usually fret about arriving early to appointments as I don't want to seem pushy. I'm quite anxious, but I felt at ease once there.
During my visit, I opted for the scalp treatment, and it was incredibly relaxing. It was my first time, but I can see myself returning for more scalp treatments even if I don't need a trim.
I have no complaints. My scalp feels revitalized, and with the thinning in the cut, my hair feels much lighter. I adore the outcome. I work with people, and I believe I'll feel much more confident there.
I paid $150 for the scalp treatment, shampoo, and restyle, and for me, it was definitely worth every penny.About

I've been to Aotearoa twice this year. Jo is a fantastic stylist, but I may not return. During my visits, Jo mentioned the time it takes to dye my hair on multiple occasions. I have dark, thick Asian hair, so I empathized with the situation. I go to the salon to boost my confidence, not to apologize for my ethnicity. I can only afford to pamper myself twice a year. On both visits, they lightened my hair more than I desired.About

This cafe is absolutely stunning with its incredible food and coffee. The long black was exceptional, just a tad short on the pour but bursting with flavor... delicious! The avocado on toast was also fantastic. They offer a variety of delightful treats to snack on, including their premium almond croissants. Had a delightful visit, second time here. Definitely go in the morning... visited late afternoon and many animals were asleep or hiding. (Previously went in the morning and had a much better time!) Staff were helpful with any queries and the wildlife park has a great layout, with plenty of informative posters and interesting exhibits. The gift shop is lovely, haven't tried the food yet but heard good things about it (apart from the prices aimed at tourists). Visited Hippopotamus for supper. Their spot is very classy and the decor is well put together. Opted for the Theatre menu. I may have set my hopes too high, but I was anticipating a spectacle of them plating our dishes right in front of us. Instead, we had a staff member do the plating in front of us, lacking effort or entertainment value. Just slicing the meat and serving it. This left me underwhelmed by the Theatre menu and somewhat dampened my evening and dining experience. We assumed there would be some cooking happening before us, not just slicing.
Don't get me wrong, the service and staff were genuinely warm and pleasant. I just feel they need to inject a bit of wow factor into the Theatre menu.
