The most wonderful experience entrusting the lovely talented hairdresser Hannah, especially since I've only ever trusted my mother who is a hairdresser. She was really attentive and sought our input on our desired look. A 5-star experience for both me and my aunt. The customer service and conversations were delightful. It was our first time visiting New Zealand and naturally we had to do a Lord of the Rings tour. It was fantastic! Our guide Stan was amazing! He was knowledgeable, fun, and punctual. I love visiting Aotearoa! As someone who only gets their hair done once (or maybe twice) a year, I really look forward to the whole experience of being in the salon. Shay has done an amazing job on my hair the two times I’ve seen her and was so responsive when I wanted to come back and get my hair lightened a little more after one of those sessions. This cafe is absolutely stunning with its incredible food and coffee. The long black was exceptional, just a tad short on the pour but bursting with flavor... delicious! The avocado on toast was also fantastic. They offer a variety of delightful treats to snack on, including their premium almond croissants. Had a delightful visit, second time here. Definitely go in the morning... visited late afternoon and many animals were asleep or hiding. (Previously went in the morning and had a much better time!) Staff were helpful with any queries and the wildlife park has a great layout, with plenty of informative posters and interesting exhibits. The gift shop is lovely, haven't tried the food yet but heard good things about it (apart from the prices aimed at tourists).
