I've been getting my hair cut at Calibre by Craig for years. He's the best men's hairdresser I've been to. The only time I've gone to someone else was when I was based outside of Wellington. The whole team is super friendly and cover the whole skillset of the modern salon. The coffee is good too and the banter better.

To get to Calibre Salon at 3 Queens Wharf, Wellington Central, Wellington 6011, New Zealand by public transport, take bus number 2 or 3 from any central Wellington location and get off at the Wellington Railway Station. From there, it's a short walk to the salon. If you prefer to drive, head towards Wellington Central and turn onto Jervois Quay, then take a left onto Customhouse Quay before turning onto Queens Wharf where the salon is located.

He then had the audacity to tell me this place is for men, not women, and demanded money. I adore getting my hair done at Forever Young! Such a peaceful atmosphere, and Jamie is such a skilled stylist (colour; highlights; cut - she's the best!). I always leave feeling EXTREMELY happy with my hair. Did I mention the amazing head massages?! (These are optional for those who don't like them - apparently this is a thing???). The salon is also next to a nail salon, so simple to get hair and nails done on the same day. Easy parking on Bay road, and cafes and shops nearby to visit when you're done to flaunt your new style. They're also super accommodating if you have little ones that need to come with you.
