Inconsistent. Carla (owner) is exceptional in her verbal cues and tone during class. Carla truly embodies the essence of the practice. However, this is not consistent among all the instructors. The response given was "one must find their own way and be self-sufficient in practice." In my opinion, this misses the mark. If teachers lean more towards a motivational gym approach, I would prefer they are upfront about it on the schedule so I can make an informed choice. A disappointing experience. I treated myself to a head, neck, and shoulder massage by Sandy, and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! It was so good that I returned later that day with my partner. He received a sciatica massage from a delightful therapist and left feeling rejuvenated. Unfortunately, Sandy was already fully booked when I returned. Peter took care of my massage, and his strong technique hit all the right spots. I felt a bit tender the next day (in a good way), as he identified areas needing extra attention and worked on those knots. The room felt a bit cramped, but once the treatment started, it didn't bother me. It would be nice to have some soothing music playing in the room to drown out the outside noise. Awful massage. Clearly lacking in knowledge of anatomy. Weak hands and provided uneven attention. For instance, the right glute received a brief but focused massage while the left received practically nothing. I was close to laughing at one point because it was so poor. Oh, and the oil was cold and left my skin feeling oily. Especially since she didn't follow the usual practice of massaging through the towel at the end to clean it off. I believe it was low-quality vegetable oil or something. I booked the pamper me package and added a 1-hour full body massage that I got on Grab One. The massage and facial in the package were divine! But the "spa" mani-pedi was pretty bad. There was no cuticle care, nail shaping, exfoliating scrub, or pressure massage like their website says. The person doing my nails was really struggling to apply the gel polish properly. They didn't even take off their cardigan, and the way they held my fingers kept rubbing it on my nails, leaving stains and bits of fabric. When they moved on to the pedicure, they awkwardly sat on the floor in an uncomfortable position. It was just a basic polish application that wasn't even done well. So, I might return for the massage but definitely not for nail treatments.About
