I've been to Aotearoa twice this year. Jo is a fantastic stylist, but I may not return. During my visits, Jo mentioned the time it takes to dye my hair on multiple occasions. I have dark, thick Asian hair, so I empathized with the situation. I go to the salon to boost my confidence, not to apologize for my ethnicity. I can only afford to pamper myself twice a year. On both visits, they lightened my hair more than I desired.
I indulged in color highlights and a haircut. Aroha's expertise and guidance were top-notch, reflecting years of industry experience. The salon's ambiance is truly delightful, resembling a retreat.
