Disappointing experience - placed an online order before 8 for an 8.30 pickup, arrived at 8.45. They seemed clueless and hadn't even started my order. The weather was awful, and I was soaked from the rain, which was uncomfortable. Finally received my food at 9.10 with no apology. Upon reaching home, found the garlic chips sauce had leaked all over my drink. The food was average, wouldn't recommend for a decent meal. Avoid online ordering for pricier, poorer service!
Lovely to see the historic Mount Cook cafe thriving, with the delightful new owner serving up delicious meals to the locals while preserving the original decor. A wonderful way to honor its past and community ties.
