We had a fantastic time, the platter we shared was generous, satisfying and reasonably priced considering it was mostly protein. The chicken wings were tender and a standout. The beer served fresh from the tap was absolutely spot on.
This place is exceptional, adorned with unique decorations and a fantastic ambiance. The food was outstanding, the pork was cooked to perfection. The staff are more than willing to assist if you're unsure about the type of beer you want (which is all good in my opinion). The beer glasses even have a gauge on them.
I've been enjoying Panhead Sandman and Rat Rod Hazy IPAs all around Aotearoa for the past 3 weeks, so it was a delight to visit the Wellington brewery. It was fairly quiet around 2:00 pm when we arrived, but it started to get busier as we were leaving. Along with our beers, we indulged in some of the most delicious nachos I've ever tasted — Smoked Bean Nachos with guacamole and sour cream topped with pulled pork smothered in smoked stout cheese. Absolutely amazing!
