Love these guys! I’ve been going here a for a few years now in New Zealand and Ra has gone from strength to strength. My latest colour (pictured) is an absolute dream, not only is the colour great but Ra made sure to do it in a way that complements my skin tone and lifts my whole appearance. Always amazing service from the whole team, I’m so glad to have found them! Highly recommended.
Unfortunately, I had two appointments for my hair in New Zealand and had specifically spoken to them about making sure my hair was looked after. I was advised that what they would do is strip it which is less damaging. Unfortunately, the job was very patchy and had destroyed my hair. The cut is uneven and I’ve had to go to another hairdresser in New Zealand to book in to have this fixed. I now have to cut a lot of my hair and have been told to not lighten any further as it will break. My hair before was fine and now it’s covered in split ends and uneven colour. My hair is so damaged it knots very easily and has been breaking. I’m just disappointed as they were quite rough when brushing and stripping so I believe this has caused the damage. The first round they had a newbie assist which is fine, but when my hairdresser pointed out a mistake, they said they would fix it - this wasn’t fixed and when I mentioned the uneven parts at the next appointment, I was told it would be better this time round. After that time, my hair was even more uneven and I was then told the colour would be like that. They then suggested at next session I would be blonde? I'm so disappointed it cost me $650 to then have to go somewhere else in New Zealand to get fixed. My hair feels awful and looks awful and I’m so upset.
