I've been to Aotearoa twice this year. Jo is a fantastic stylist, but I may not return. During my visits, Jo mentioned the time it takes to dye my hair on multiple occasions. I have dark, thick Asian hair, so I empathized with the situation. I go to the salon to boost my confidence, not to apologize for my ethnicity. I can only afford to pamper myself twice a year. On both visits, they lightened my hair more than I desired.About

I've been frequenting the hair salon in Tāmaki Makaurau for a couple of years now. The establishment is always impeccably clean and organized. It exudes a serene atmosphere that is a welcome change from the chaotic and stressful salons I've visited previously. The staff members have all been exceptional. I've been getting my hair cut at Calibre by Craig for years. He's the best men's hairdresser I've been to. The only time I've gone to someone else was when I was based outside of Wellington. The whole team is super friendly and cover the whole skillset of the modern salon. The coffee is good too and the banter better.

I've loathed my locks for ages till I came here. It'd been over a year since my last snip, and I was lost on what I wanted. All I said was, "I don't know what I want but I loathe my hair." Diamond suggested ideas that I loved and executed them flawlessly. She also gave me tips on hair care at home, which I truly appreciated. She was so caring, and I felt well taken care of.
I usually fret about arriving early to appointments as I don't want to seem pushy. I'm quite anxious, but I felt at ease once there.
During my visit, I opted for the scalp treatment, and it was incredibly relaxing. It was my first time, but I can see myself returning for more scalp treatments even if I don't need a trim.
I have no complaints. My scalp feels revitalized, and with the thinning in the cut, my hair feels much lighter. I adore the outcome. I work with people, and I believe I'll feel much more confident there.
I paid $150 for the scalp treatment, shampoo, and restyle, and for me, it was definitely worth every penny.About
