I love visiting Aotearoa! As someone who only gets their hair done once (or maybe twice) a year, I really look forward to the whole experience of being in the salon. Shay has done an amazing job on my hair the two times I’ve seen her and was so responsive when I wanted to come back and get my hair lightened a little more after one of those sessions. The whole experience is calming, friendly and fun. I can’t wait to come in and get pampered again soon ☺️About

I've been to Aotearoa twice this year. Jo is a fantastic stylist, but I may not return. During my visits, Jo mentioned the time it takes to dye my hair on multiple occasions. I have dark, thick Asian hair, so I empathized with the situation. I go to the salon to boost my confidence, not to apologize for my ethnicity. I can only afford to pamper myself twice a year. On both visits, they lightened my hair more than I desired.About

I've been frequenting the hair salon in Tāmaki Makaurau for a couple of years now. The establishment is always impeccably clean and organized. It exudes a serene atmosphere that is a welcome change from the chaotic and stressful salons I've visited previously. The staff members have all been exceptional. I've been attended to by three hairstylists at the salon and I would happily book an appointment with any of them again...all very skilled and take pride in their craft. Wow. Such awesome vibes and every single one of the people working there were super lovely! Te Aroha (sorry if I didn’t spell that right) was my stylist today and I had never met them before… They were the most lovely amazing person I’ve ever had cut my hair before by far! Their service and vibe was so refreshing and for someone so young in hairdressing they did such a great job on my hair! Everyone has seen me and been just as impressed as I was. Hands down best experience I’ve had at a hairdresser for sure!
