I had my hair styled and colored by Jade and goodness, I'm a huge fan of hers. My hair was a complete mess before, and she transformed it beautifully, I'm absolutely thrilled with the result! AND she made the whole process enjoyable (never once did she criticize my hair that resembled a cheap, neglected discount store wig), plus I swear getting summery blonde highlights in winter is a remedy for seasonal blues... Studies are pending, but we really should look into it, shouldn't we? I've been going to Lawrenique for 5 years now, and I trust NO ONE else with my hair. My sibling Travels from Wellington for Lawrenique to style her hair. Our hair is curly, dense, and lengthy. My hair is also damaged from my previous poor hair choices. I've been getting my hair cut at Calibre by Craig for years. He's the best men's hairdresser I've been to. The only time I've gone to someone else was when I was based outside of Wellington. The whole team is super friendly and cover the whole skillset of the modern salon. The coffee is good too and the banter better.

To get to Calibre Salon at 3 Queens Wharf, Wellington Central, Wellington 6011, New Zealand by public transport, take bus number 2 or 3 from any central Wellington location and get off at the Wellington Railway Station. From there, it's a short walk to the salon. If you prefer to drive, head towards Wellington Central and turn onto Jervois Quay, then take a left onto Customhouse Quay before turning onto Queens Wharf where the salon is located.
