The nail art in New Zealand is truly stunning, and Rani is clearly a very skilled artist. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was lacking, with tools being dropped on the floor and reused immediately. This would not be a concern if my cuticles hadn't been badly damaged, causing bleeding and pain for several days after. I was hesitant to leave a review, but my BIAB started lifting after just 9 days. He was pleasant, not overly chatty, accidentally cut my finger which stung with the chemicals and blue light. Never had one before (saw it on social media) and it combines all the best parts of a massage with a really thorough hair wash and scalp care that's far beyond a basic hairdresser wash/head massage. Jordan is exceptional! I visited him after a different salon damaged my eyelashes during a VERY poorly executed lash lift. Absolutely adored the pregnancy massage, really worked out all the tension and knots in my shoulders while being gentle on the areas that didn't need much attention. The room felt a bit cramped, but once the treatment started, it didn't bother me. It would be nice to have some soothing music playing in the room to drown out the outside noise. I booked the pamper me package and added a 1-hour full body massage that I got on Grab One. The massage and facial in the package were divine! But the "spa" mani-pedi was pretty bad. There was no cuticle care, nail shaping, exfoliating scrub, or pressure massage like their website says. The person doing my nails was really struggling to apply the gel polish properly. They didn't even take off their cardigan, and the way they held my fingers kept rubbing it on my nails, leaving stains and bits of fabric. When they moved on to the pedicure, they awkwardly sat on the floor in an uncomfortable position. It was just a basic polish application that wasn't even done well. So, I might return for the massage but definitely not for nail treatments.About
