Wow. Such awesome vibes and every single one of the people working there were super lovely! Te Aroha (sorry if I didn’t spell that right) was my stylist today and I had never met them before… They were the most lovely amazing person I’ve ever had cut my hair before by far! Their service and vibe was so refreshing and for someone so young in hairdressing they did such a great job on my hair! Everyone has seen me and been just as impressed as I was. Hands down best experience I’ve had at a hairdresser for sure! I've been to Aotearoa twice this year. Jo is a fantastic stylist, but I may not return. During my visits, Jo mentioned the time it takes to dye my hair on multiple occasions. I have dark, thick Asian hair, so I empathized with the situation. I go to the salon to boost my confidence, not to apologize for my ethnicity. I can only afford to pamper myself twice a year. On both visits, they lightened my hair more than I desired.About

She was thorough with the stencil of the tattoo and made sure I was happy before going ahead. She made me feel comfortable and her space is absolutely beautiful! I am amazed, this has definitely been my top experience at a salon in my entire life, the team has the most incredible training and customer service, all small details were noticed and they were able to create a stunning colour for me. Jacques is just so lovely, made me feel so welcome and like a new friend. The other 2 ladies are equally kind and give the most beautiful massages while offering anything else I need like tea or coffee, water temp, etc. I felt so at home and my hair feels so gorgeous, will definitely be returning when in Wellington again.About

I adore getting my hair done at Forever Young! Such a peaceful atmosphere, and Jamie is such a skilled stylist (colour; highlights; cut - she's the best!). I always leave feeling EXTREMELY happy with my hair. Did I mention the amazing head massages?! (These are optional for those who don't like them - apparently this is a thing???). The salon is also next to a nail salon, so simple to get hair and nails done on the same day. Easy parking on Bay road, and cafes and shops nearby to visit when you're done to flaunt your new style. They're also super accommodating if you have little ones that need to come with you.
