I forgot his name but bro with the dark hair and nose piercing casually gave me the best haircut of my LIFE! Go here if you like hairdressers that listen to your needs and reasonably priced haircuts from people who care. 20/10 give that man a raise.
Popped in at 5:30 for a trim and the bloke there with black hair, (didn't catch his name) did a Brilliant job! It was only the second time in my life I'd been in a salon and he made me feel instantly at ease and comfortable super stoked with the cut and he managed to save a lot more of my hair from split ends than I expected! Was extremely knowledgeable about hair and products as well, and prices across the board are very reasonable. 10/10 will be returning.
It's choice that there is a cheap option to get a haircut in Auckland, but it's only good if you actually manage to get one! Last week I went 4 times to try to get one but was unsuccessful. I went at different times, including 5 minutes after they opened, and every time I was told the wait time was either 'at least' 35 minutes to 'at least' 1.5 hrs. On 3 out of the 4 days I went, I saw that they only had one person working, which could explain the long waits. Unless they fix their staffing issues and/or allow for bookings, I don't think things will change much. So no more Snip for me! Back to the other salons that, even though are more expensive, can actually cut your hair.
