A top spot for a coastal jaunt. The car park can fill up fast on sunny days, especially if there's a diving crew about. There's a spot to picnic, seats, and a bin for rubbish. It's a hit for snorkeling with a reef nearby and the sea critters in the reserve are on the rise.
My first go at snorkeling was a blast for my 50th with my lad. Can't wait to come back for more sights real soon!
The Wellington Mountain to Sea, a charity crew, put on a free snorkeling day at the Taputeranga Snorkel trail, gear included. It was a stellar time, with guides leading each group to keep everyone safe. There's a lot to behold up close and down under if you're willing to take the plunge!
