Inconsistent. Carla (owner) is exceptional in her verbal cues and tone during class. Carla truly embodies the essence of the practice. However, this is not consistent among all the instructors. The response given was "one must find their own way and be self-sufficient in practice." In my opinion, this misses the mark. If teachers lean more towards a motivational gym approach, I would prefer they are upfront about it on the schedule so I can make an informed choice. A disappointing experience. If a teacher cannot maintain their center and embody all three principles of hatha yoga, why are they teaching at the studio?
Dropped into a class while visiting Auckland on holiday. Absolutely fantastic! I really enjoyed it, I appreciate that the studio offers 45, 60, and 90-minute classes. Renata is a fantastic instructor and I will definitely return.
Adore the warmth! What's fantastic about Bikram is the consistency of the sequence. Knowing what to anticipate and progressing at your own rhythm.
