My first experience with Smooth was fantastic. I had my brows tinted, and they were able to squeeze me in for a gel nail polish, which was done amazingly well. Thank you, ladies, for your warm hospitality. A satisfied customer! I'll be seeing you at my next appointment 😉
The lass who did my nails was delightful. The gel polish only lasted a few days before starting to peel and within a week I needed to have it removed. Typically, I get a good 2 weeks out of it. There's also a limited selection of colors available. If you're looking to get your nails done, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
I visited Smooth a few times. The initial visit was for an eyelash lift and tint. It turned out uneven, and there was glue and ink left on my skin around my eyes, so I had to go home and clean it up myself. The second visit was for a consultation with their specialist, Paul. I felt pressured to buy very pricey products, but I went along with it as I was eager to address my acne. However, I didn't see any improvement from those products. The third appointment was for a mild chemical peel. I was assured I would look fine the next day, as I had a wedding to attend. However, Paul decided to do extractions before the peel, which left me with scabs for a good week and then two scars that are still visible months later. Despite receiving a free facial, it didn't help with the scars. The staff is friendly, but I won't be returning.
