I've been a client of The Cove Salon for around 20 years and with Marama the whole time. She has gone above and beyond for me and is a really skilled stylist. Such a nice friendly team!
I made the appointment to get old colour taken out, I know by experience that it might not go as light as I want it first go. However, having had my hair bleached and coloured many times (I love vibrant colours), I always use a hair salon to bleach it. I have never had my hair done the way it was done at this salon. The colour strip and actual bleach solution was not the problem. My hair was pulled, teased, ripped, and not one decent section was done for the bleach to reach each strand of hair, resulting in my hair still having the original colour spotted all over. The hairdresser was nice enough but looked like they had no idea how to section hair. My colour strip dried so much then the bleach was added to my roots by the hairdresser basically slapping it on while trying to pull my hair apart that had the colour strip on. The bleach was not evenly distributed resulting in spotting all over from my roots to mid-length. Not happy at all and will not go back. Everyone knows you must section your hair and make sure every strand of hair is covered in bleach.
I have been getting my hair done by Sione for about 3 years now. They are wonderful. I always leave more than happy. Their colours are wonderful and they get my cut right every time. Thanks Sione, you are the best.
