I've been visiting Te Aroha for a few years now at this clinic. They are thorough, kind, and caring individuals. They explain treatments in a way I can grasp. I was impressed with a handout illustrating where to apply a particular cream on my different trouble spots and clear instructions on what to do. The clinic is tranquil and soothing. The receptionist is efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this clinic.
Dr. Delaney conducted an extremely detailed examination of my skin, capturing high-definition close-up photos for future reference. They identified several areas for immediate treatment by freezing, and another that will require a biopsy. Dr. Delaney will also perform a cosmetic procedure at a later date. I wholeheartedly recommend them as today's appointment instilled 100% confidence that any skin condition is being closely monitored or promptly treated.
I visited this clonic thinking I had dermatitis on my scalp. I consulted with the doctor who, after a brief examination, bluntly and clearly informed me that I had cancer. They mentioned that it was likely to ‘penetrate to the brain’. This was their immediate diagnosis, which was partly accurate, but their harsh way of breaking the news left me in a state of shock. Subsequently, I sought treatment at another practice and underwent the necessary surgery for SCC, not melanoma or BCC. I strongly believe that a doctor should be mindful of how they deliver news about a patient's condition.
