I wasn’t going to write a review since i don’t know much about hair but since being to a different professional and having everything explained to me in detail i feel like i should let people know. i had been going to this salon for a while and at the start i loved the way my hair looked and then it started to look very bright at my scalp and very ashy at the bottom this is because they overlap their foils with existing bleach this makes the hair extremely fragile and damaged i believe this is why my hair is in the condition it is now i used to have beautiful healthy hair and now it struggles to grow past a certain length, after i noticed it looking very bright at the top and ashy at the bottom i decided to get brown dye put in, my hair has snapped off so badly and it has made me super stressed and upset. Another thing that alarmed me was how it hurt when the foils were taken out i feel like yanking them out would cause more damage and when i went to a different salon i couldn’t even feel her pulling them out so there is definitely a better way to get the foils out. i knew my last time going to this salon was when i arrived on time and had not eaten anything that morning but i didn’t want to make her late for her next appointment by getting something to eat and when i got there she said she was running behind but didn’t give me an estimated time and i ended up waiting 39 minutes and i was still paying for “extra long” hair even though my hair had to be cut super short since it was all snapped and fried off. again the only reason i am writing this review is because my self confidence has gone down so much because of my hair and i’ve experienced much better treatment at a different salon and i think you should spend your money somewhere else
my hair is fried off she told me that coming back every 2 moons that my hair wouldn’t gain any damage, and now i’m left with my hair fried in half, the money seemed to be more important than the health of her clients hair. i have never had layers cut in my hair the photo pictured below is purely from my hair snapping off. she also gave me a bleach bleed so i had to go back and get more damage to my hair to make it look semi decent.
Beautiful full head of foils at The Hair Collective today with Caitlin. These folks are fantastic with blonde hair - color is spot on and not over toned, condition is top-notch. It’s cost-effective and I've been pleased with my service every time. Thanks team, would and have recommend these folks to mates.
