The staff is exceptional, and everyone is incredibly friendly! The small coffee shop made the most exquisite coffee I've had in a while, and the ladies working there were delightful and engaging! I cannot praise both stores enough.
Purchased two T-bone steaks. Good size but uneven thickness. Cooked to medium rare. Disappointingly tough and lacking in flavor. Will not make this purchase again. However, the staff were extremely welcoming, offering a wide variety of options, and the store was well-presented. I will explore other choices but will avoid buying steak.
Brought in 4 haunches of wild boar for processing into sausages and bacon. Detailed the order. Sent my son to collect and was surprised to be charged $200. Upon returning home, I discovered only sausages, no bacon. Contacted the shop assuming a mix-up with another order. However, I was informed it was a mistake on their part, as they mistakenly used beef fat in my sausages, hence the high charge. Uncertain if these sausages are safe for my family with coeliac disease. Received a mere apology with no further resolution. Highly dissatisfied with the service. Normally, we travel to have our meat processed but opted for local service this time.
