Extremely unfriendly receptionist. I was experiencing the early signs of a panic attack (a new experience for me, so I was unsure of what to do) which was triggered by feeling dizzy/nauseous/on the verge of fainting. Asked if I could see a doctor and mentioned I wasn't a registered patient there - willing to pay any fees. Only 2 people in the waiting area. Receptionist inquires, "are you planning to enroll with us?" I replied no. I had been a patient at this clinic for years. I work nearby and knew they usually accepted walk-ins, so I chose it as my first option for help. My son is a registered patient there. Immediately, she curtly says, "sorry, we're not accepting casual patients right now," and then ignored me, waiting for me to leave. That's okay, but there's no need to be so rude. You never know what others are going through. Kindness isn't difficult. I'll be transferring my son from this practice as well, thank you.
A frustrating ordeal with the service here. Brought my 2 year old niece in as she had a cough and was unwell - explained this to the receptionist as the reason for our visit. Asked about the wait time and was told "30 minutes" ... seemed reasonable. After 45 minutes of waiting, the baby was getting restless - inquired about our position in the queue and was told we were next. An hour passes, and the baby is now very upset from waiting so long. Asked again about the delay, a different receptionist informs us that the nurse is ready for the 12-month immunization - frustratingly, this is not why we are here. She seems confused as that is what is noted in the records!!! Very poor service!! Hope to never return there.
Last Sunday, my daughter had an accident at a softball game. Our doctor, Grant Spence, is exceptional - he has been our family doctor for years. I highly recommend Grant Spence. The receptionist, a blonde lady whose name I didn't catch, was wonderful to deal with, and Grant went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information and support we needed. Thank you so much.
