On a visit for a trim, the wonderful individuals attending were pleasant. However, on this particular occasion, I requested a shortening at the back and a trim on the sides, yet left with significantly shorter hair than anticipated. The drastic change left me in tears, as it had taken me a considerable amount of time to grow my hair. Both my friends and I were shocked by the outcome, making it difficult for me to face my reflection. The use of a razor instead of scissors and the lack of acknowledgment when I expressed my dissatisfaction left me feeling disregarded. At a cost of $45, I have decided to never return to that establishment and will not recommend it to others.
Kim provided me with an exceptional haircut at a great price. It truly lifted my spirits and she was delightful to interact with. I often leave hair salons feeling unheard, but that wasn't the case this time. While the salon may not be extravagant, the hairdressers are incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. I am extremely pleased.
Although I have visited the salon multiple times, my most recent experience was disappointing. The individual who cut my daughter's hair displayed rudeness, preventing any opportunity for discussion or decision-making. He continuously imposed his assumptions about my parenting style, insinuating control over my daughter's freedom of expression. Following an average haircut, he charged an additional fee, justifying it by claiming to have spent extra time on the task, without prior notification or consent. Despite previous encounters with amiable staff members at the same location, this encounter was unsatisfactory.
