I’ve been to plenty of lash techs in the Auckland region and she is by far the best in my opinion. Was originally going for d curl, medium length and she recommend dd. Glad I opted for her recommendation it made all the difference. The end result was subpar, with inconsistent shaping on every nail. When I suggested it would be nice to seek feedback, the technician argued and dismissed my concerns. Avoid this place at all costs - they're only after your money. Charlie was so lovely and supportive, addressing the damage in a practical and caring way which made me feel nurtured rather than judged. I am really let down by my visit to Studio V. While Leighanna was fantastic, her team members were not. They had me soaking in the incorrect product, twice, for over 50mins so SNS did not soften, it turns out they had added alcohol in the acetone bottles. Then the staff member tore and damaged two nails while being rough trying to remove the SNS as it had not softened. Then, while attempting to rectify her mistake with tips, she glued her glove to my finger and had to peel it off my skin causing me to bleed. It was a dreadful experience for which I was still charged the full price and unfortunately, I was too stunned to object.About

I recently experienced this salon for the first time, purely by chance as my usual salon was swamped with post-lockdown appointments & couldn't squeeze me in. I was a bit anxious about trying a new hairdresser, but it turned out to be unnecessary! Shayne was warm, highly skilled and knowledgeable, and paid close attention to my preferences. The organic products she used are truly remarkable and have genuinely improved the condition of my long hair. It's no longer dry and now feels incredibly soft with volume and beautiful curls all the way to the tips. I've also noticed a decrease in shedding. I am completely won over and will definitely be a loyal customer from now on. I truly wish this local grocery store could improve significantly as it's the nearest supermarket to me. However, I tend to avoid it because it disappoints us. The produce section is poorly stocked, not fresh, and lacks variety. The deli section is subpar - why don't they carry the other salami brands that other New Zealands stock? The current selection looks old and has a strange color, what about some parma and prosciutto? The bakery section is also lacking - where are the baguettes and fresh breads that other New Zealands carry? It's all cheap and unpleasant baking. Have you seen what Silverstream is achieving in their bakery? It's excellent and very popular. I believe Hutt City NW has a lot of ground to cover to reach the standard of other New Zealand supermarkets like Wellington, Thorndon, or even Silverstream. If the owner is reading this: please take this feedback positively to enhance and elevate your standards - I assure you, you will attract more business if you do!
