Went for family lunch. First signs of poor service was being given a buzzer as if it’s some takeaway joint, when I went to get my food I was disappointed with the amount of chips with the kids meal, and with my burger. Food was satisfactory, nothing special. Although no sauce was given with my chips, kids meals had some.. Second sign was when I ordered 2 lemon lime and bitters and the bar staff simply popped open a Bundaberg bottle and gave it to me, no offer of a glass or ice. Had to get my own glass. To top it off, the table we’re sitting at was 2 trestle fold-out tables, above it were about 6 blown lights. Charlie was so lovely and supportive, addressing the damage in a practical and caring way which made me feel nurtured rather than judged. Popped in today, showed the chap a snap of my desired style and requested to maintain the length on top. Unfortunately, he didn't pay heed and just did his own thing. I now resemble an egg. Perhaps the most cringe-worthy haircut I've ever had.
