Booked my haircut with Tane online for 4.00pm. Arrived at 3.45pm and waited patiently. Noticed only two Kiwi barbers in the shop. By 4.15pm, I inquired about Tane's absence and was told to wait a bit longer. At 4.30pm, asked when the current customer would be done, received a vague response. The barber and his customer joked in another language, making me feel targeted. Left at 4.40pm without my haircut due to excessive wait and feeling mocked. If it's not Tane, don't expect respect for being Māori or any other nationality. The Indian barbers may be skilled, but lack in customer service. Found another barber a few blocks away.
First visit, now my go-to barber shop. Tane did an excellent job. Highly recommend.
