I have been a loyal customer of Countdown Woolworths for many years. Recently, I have observed a significant shortage of products on their shelves since the onset of covid. However, I must commend the always helpful and friendly staff at the High St store.
Over the past few weeks/months, the stock levels have been terrible. I used to frequent that store, but the last 5 visits resulted in 6 unavailable items each time (I double-checked the next day with the same result). Just a short distance away is the queensgate woolworths, and they consistently have all the items I require that the Lower Hutt woolworths does not stock. Despite the convenience, I will no longer waste my time at Lower Hutt woolworths. I recommend going to queensgate.
Convenient parking options (including undercover) and the proximity to the Saturday morning Riverside Market make this our preferred choice for food and grocery shopping!
