I used to frequent this place, but it was always packed due to its popularity. So, I decided to try a different spot while the usual barber was on holiday overseas. I was pleasantly surprised to find Pacifica open with no wait. Got a great haircut and will definitely return on a Sunday next time.
I've been to this place numerous times and the haircuts are always top-notch. The young fellas do a great job with fades and the banter is always lively. The prices are quite affordable too. The tools were clean, the razors sharp, and the shop was tidy. Would've given it 5 stars if the store was a bit cleaner. Highly recommend!
Walked in and waited for about 30 minutes. Asked for a combover with a mid skin fade on the sides and a drop fade at the back. The barber seemed to understand but ended up pushing my hairline back and giving me a cut that made me wear my cap for the rest of my stay in New Zealand. If you're looking for a barber who listens, avoid this place (Otahuhu branch).
