My hand was in cast for 10 weeks, came to this clinic back on May, from the first day that receptionist contacted she made me laugh, she has got a great humour and good energy and very helpful which that’s what we all need a positive behaviour, my hand therapist was Greg! Such an incredible guy and very helpful and bubbly, he helped with my hand over 5 months, while he was on holiday Elaine helped me. Definitely recommend this place. I almost got fully recovered from serious hand injury I have had. Thanks to Greg and Elaine and wonderful team they have. Really grateful for all their hard work! 💛
I hurt my left hand around the thumb and the doc registered it for acc and that was approved. 2 weeks later it had not improved despite deep heat etc so I made an appointment at Tamaki hands. Physio Nicola spent 20 mins assessing and evaluated the problem and issued me a stiff thumb brace to keep the thumb joint from moving. After 2 more appointments, a less restrictive thumb support and a set of 4 thumb exercises to do 3 times daily using an app that I did diligently. I went back today and Nicole assessed it had improved to the point I was all clear to carefully start doing normal activities. I was thrilled to be that improved and really liked the service provided by the Tamaki hands team and Nicola. Thank you!
The entire procedure was seamless. Helen was exceptionally professional and friendly, going above and beyond to explain the injury and the treatment plan in detail. Her thoroughness and care made a real difference in ensuring I felt informed and at ease. Excellent service all around!
