Can't believe the lack of service, I got a txt about a voucher coming due so I rang and the gal on the phone was painful to deal with but I ordered two pairs of shoes to pick up next Friday. She couldn't take Payment over phone and I said well just e-mail me invoice and I'll pay online as the voucher will run out before I could get in, Na can't do that, another lady got involved and also can't pay over phone or online without ordering online. Tried that, couldn't match up voucher and was so hard I gave up. Crazy stuff but I'll never do back!!!!
Appalling sale tactics from the female staffer on today (AM 19/3/24) I asked to try on a pair of Merrell shoes that were on discount in my usual size (37NZ) but the gal who served me tried to tell me that I was a size 38NZ - I am most definitely not, having owned 5 different Merrell pairs of shoes, I’m confident I know my size. I asked for my usual size and only then was told the 38s were the smallest size they had in stock. Why not just say so at the beginning? I was also shown both the black and the brown pairs of shoes in the exact same style (I checked the box) but there was a 30 dollar mark up on the price for the brown pair as “the sole has more cushioning”. I’m sorry - it’s the exact same shoe just in a different colour. Don’t lie to me. I even went online to check the official brand to verify. Left the store feeling very much like I had been taken for a fool. Note to others - do your research, stand your ground and have an idea on what you’re looking for before any purchase, especially at this store.
I have never been to Kiwi's foot before today. I was a shoe clinic customer for many years. However after a bad shoe clinic experience at Sylvia Park today I decided to give Kiwi's Foot a go because it was a few doors down. Talk about night and day re service. The gal that served us at Kiwi's Foot was awesome right from the get-go! Top-notch customer service. Really appreciated. We walked out with a new fitted pair of shoes & bought extras as well. Its our new go-to store.
