I can’t praise Hemi enough. I initially went to him at his previous beauty salon for waxing and followed him when he started The Beauty Lounge. I wouldn’t trust anyone else for waxing, he’s the best in the industry. I now also get my nails and eyelashes done by him. His expertise creates a day spa-like experience, so serene and rejuvenating. I arrived in a week ago and wanted to book something that offered great attention to cuticle and heel work. I discussed this at the counter and booked a mani and pedi which included all these things plus a massage.
The atmosphere is truly lovely and I feel it sets a scene that leads you to expect more than what the service actually delivers.
It's been a week now and my nails are already chipping and lifting, with a lot of skin tears around my nail.
The experience felt very rushed, with 2 people working on me and an electric tool used to buff (grind) my nails. I find this approach to be quite heavy-handed and causing significant damage to the nails. My nails became really hot and it was painful.
I would recommend some training on massage as I understand it won't be lengthy but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be good. It's been a week now and my nails are already lifting and chipping.
