I visited a barbershop for a haircut, and the "owner" insisted on appointments only, despite having no bookings and being free at the time. There was no indication on the door about this policy. I found it perplexing that he would turn away a potential customer when there was no one else waiting. I eventually had to leave. It's unfortunate, but I prefer loyalty to a barber once I find one.
