Outstanding service. I popped in for a manicure and pedicure, but they were fully booked for both. They offered me a choice of one. However, when the other technician finished with her client, she came over to do a manicure for me as well. It was quick but a fantastic job. I arrived in a week ago and wanted to book something that offered great attention to cuticle and heel work. I discussed this at the counter and booked a mani and pedi which included all these things plus a massage.
The atmosphere is truly lovely and I feel it sets a scene that leads you to expect more than what the service actually delivers.
It's been a week now and my nails are already chipping and lifting, with a lot of skin tears around my nail.
The experience felt very rushed, with 2 people working on me and an electric tool used to buff (grind) my nails. I find this approach to be quite heavy-handed and causing significant damage to the nails. My nails became really hot and it was painful.
I would recommend some training on massage as I understand it won't be lengthy but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be good. It's been a week now and my nails are already lifting and chipping. To get to Eden Nails & Spa at 420 Mount Eden Road, Mount Eden, Auckland 1024, New Zealand by public transport, you can take bus number 27 from Britomart Transport Centre and get off at the Mount Eden Road near Valley Road stop, which is just a short walk away from the salon. If you prefer to drive, you can head towards Mount Eden Road and turn onto Valley Road, then turn onto Ngauruhoe Street before reaching the salon on the left.
