I'm impressed by the service at St Luke's, and the Newmarket store, being newer and in a better spot, should offer even better service. However, my first laser treatment this morning at 9:00 was disappointing. The therapist didn't explain well and hurriedly left the room, not giving me enough time to cover up. When I asked for the manager's contact details to file a complaint, she handed me a generic email card with no name. I now seek a full refund due to this unpleasant experience and hope for a prompt response.About

I have been waxing at Bonita for nine years. They are always very professional and respectful towards the client. The staff is well trained and they keep the quality and consistency across the staff. If there’s someone being trained they always ask permission to train that person while waxing you. They also ask if we feel comfortable going with someone who’s been trained. Although I’ve been going there for nine years they still ask permission to come inside the room without a fail. The service and the quality are 10 out of 10. Additionally, I had a full leg treatment yesterday, and I have a tattoo on my lower leg. I felt a burning sensation around my tattoo area after the session, and when I mentioned it to the therapist, she assured me not to worry. However, upon checking today, part of my tattoo area is blistered and painful. This is highly unprofessional, and I would not recommend this service.About

I have a small pigment on my cheek, so I found this local Kiwi business through Google for my first-ever skin/beauty appointment. I met a consultant in early August and was quoted $165 for 3 laser visits monthly. Great. I informed the beautician I'd book in October, which I did via email. That's when things got tricky. I received an email response stating that what I was quoted was for an Autumn procedure (note autumn is April/May in NZ). Instead, I was told I needed to book derma needling for $500-700. At this point, I couldn't tell if it was incompetence or a sly upsell - who knows! So, I didn't proceed with the treatment. Ten days ago, I received a survey, likely from the 'on and off' marketing department. I raised all my concerns in it. Guess what - no response. I suppose I won't get one here either!
