Today me and my whānau visited Parnell. We were captivated by the beauty of the suburb and captured moments around the area. We encountered a charming dog relaxing outside a brow salon - The Better Sisters. Intrigued by its cuteness, we began taking photos. Shortly after, we were reprimanded by the salon's owner for photographing the dog. While I understand not everyone is comfortable with their pet being photographed, the manner in which we were approached was somewhat aggressive, with a hint of anger, leaving me feeling intimidated and uneasy. It would have been appreciated if the owner had communicated the message in a more polite and gentle manner. The incident was a real buzzkill as our intentions were innocent, and we had no desire to cause offense. I believe as a business owner, it is crucial to maintain a level of politeness and respect in interactions. I enjoy visiting brow and lash salons, but I would reconsider patronizing a place where the owner displays rudeness.
