The service at the customer desk here is subpar. I tried to get a price match on a product that was in stock at a competitor's store, as shown on my phone. However, the staff member insisted it wasn't available in their system. After 10 minutes of back and forth, she realized her error in selecting the wrong store. Her attitude was quite rude, no apology offered. It seems like they are unwilling to accommodate price matches. I suggest heading to Papanui, where the customer service is excellent. They managed a price match for me within a minute last week. Rangiora is not recommended.
We've just shifted to Tauranga and I popped into the shop today to buy some tall pots and plants for my new place. A friendly assistant in the plant section, who I think is Kiwi like me, was incredibly helpful! She guided me on choosing the right plants for the pots and gave excellent suggestions. I didn't catch her name, but a big thank you to her for the assistance. Can't wait to share a photo of the pots by my front door, along with the delightful scent of the cyclamen!
